Software Alliance holds its first AGM at ICC Belfast, welcomes Secretary of State for NI as guest speaker
Software Alliance members gathered today for its first Annual General Meeting which was held at the ICC Belfast. The Alliance welcomed Secretary of State for Northern Ireland Chris Heaton-Harris who took time away from what was clearly a hugely busy time to meet with our members as well as visiting Version 1 and Kainos today.
Software Alliance CEO David Crozier provided a detailed overview of Software Alliance activities since its launch in March 2022. Membership numbers have continued to grow rapidly and the first annual accounts where presented alongside plans for further organisational growth and development plans.
Members supported the resolution to rebrand the Software Alliance to Software NI with work to commence immediately to facilitate that.
